LUMA
Effective date: 2026.09.04
Luma is designed to provide countdowns and natural-event information without requiring an account. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Countdown titles, dates, categories, and optional notes are stored on your device. They are shared with the Luma widget through Apple's App Group storage so the widget can display your selected countdown. We do not operate a server that receives this personal event information.
Memory notes and photos you explicitly select with Apple's system photo picker are stored on your device for yearly albums. When you share a generated countdown card, iOS sends it only to the app or person you choose in the system share sheet; Luma does not upload it.
If you grant location permission, Luma uses your location to calculate local sunrise and sunset times, determine your timezone, and select public holidays for your country. Location permission is requested only for app functionality and is not used for advertising or tracking.
These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs under their own terms and privacy practices.
Luma does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites.
Your personal countdowns and memories remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove the app and its associated data. Network providers may retain request logs under their own policies.
Luma is not directed at collecting personal information from children and does not provide accounts, public profiles, messaging, or behavioral advertising.
We may update this policy when the app's functionality or data practices change. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
